From 1 until 15 July, Guiding Architects invites you on a virtual trip to no less than eight cities all over the world.
After the success of the first two virtual tour series, which attracted more than 500 viewers per tour, Guiding Architects offers a third series in July. This time we'll visit two destinations per session. Two local partners will present and discuss gamechanging buildings in their cities, comparing the background, motivation and effect of the iconic projects.
Game changers are buildings that outshine everything. In some cases, it seems as if the city is reduced to a single object. Are these outstanding solitaires a recipe for success or just a city marketing trick? Which impact do they have on their surroundings? Do they contribute to the sustainable development of cities or are they just status symbols?
